Castlevania: Curse of Darkness video game - Garibaldi Courtyard background music. Castlevania: Curse of Darkness, released for XBox and Playstation 2, is one of the 3D installments for the classic Castlevania series. Its music, composed by Michiru Yamane (who also composed the music for Castlevania: Symphony of the Night and Castlevania: Portrait of Ruin), is old school Castlevania, with an ambient twist. This classic series of video games began as a 2d action platformer on the Nintendo Entertainment System console. The Belmont clan's ongoing struggle against vampiric evil continues to provide fans with fresh gameplay, great soundtracks (encompassing a variety of musical styles, such as gothic, rock, and classical), and indepth storylines involving many engaging characters. The Castlevania series has engrossed two generations of gamers, across many different systems (including Sega Genesis, Super NES, Gameboy, and more).
