Chapter 33
Well Barbara, Mikki, Hope and the boys went to barbara's and ate. The boys got to stay because their next concert was in the next town but it wasn't till the day after tomorrow.
Barbara's POV
Wel we finally got home. I was so happy to be home. We had stopped by Movie Gallery(actual place) and rented alot of horror movies. Yeah after what i had been through, I still liked to sit and watch a horror movie. I guess it didn't really phase me. I'm not sure. We'll see after i watch a horror movie. The only thing i hated was that Kevin, hes so sweet but, kept asking if i was okay. I finally told him 'IM FINE' and no need to worry. i got through 3 horror movies, after the third one Mikki went to fix somemore food, i was sooo hungry, and Kevin went to help her. Nick and Hope was on the computer messin in the computer room. Me and Joe were in the living room.
"so how you doin so far?" asked Joe. "not you too" i replied. "i was just askin" he said kindly. "well im waitin to wake up back to our sleepover." he looked at em confused. "what do you mean?" he said. "well before yallmet us i had a way similar dream. i woke up. it seemed real. then everything started happening like it did in my dream just different." "like?" he asked. "well Charlie kidnapped me and hope, in real life he kidnapped all three of us. And i even walked in on all three of yall, but in real life it was only 2." he laughed a little. "i feel so bad that i got yall into that, i feel bad Kevin can't play i ruined it" i looked down sad. "look" i looked up. "it wasn't your fault, you are not the one that went crazy" he said soothingly. "but you could have left and not gotten into that" i said "well...why?" "because we WANTED to help" he said. "and i thank you for that, its just that you guys had all this stuff and you risked it all for someone who had a crazy guy after her and her friends" i said looking down. he lifted my chin "soo" he said "i would have down it any day, even if you had a crazy guy and his ex" he laughed so did i. it felt good. He leaned in to kiss me i knew he was. i moved back and got up. "I wanna watch the other Horror movies" i said as if nothing happened. I guess i just was scared still. Maybe the whole charlie thing did phase me. i wanted to be with joe but i didn't know.
Mikkis POV
Me and Kevin went into the kitchen. I decided to make some smor'es and some pizza. I remembered that was always Barbaras favorite comfort food. kevin was glad to help. "so..how it feel without the crazy people?" he asked me. "yes i do." "but why did you interrupt the cop when he was telling barbara what happened?" i asked. "well i didn't wanna...cause stress to barbara" he told me. I didn't think he was telling the truth. "Kevin if there is something that your not telling us that has to deal with barbara, then you better spill now." "look when the cop told me what had happened, they said they found blood samples from three people and Nick Charlie and Barbara were the only ones that were bleeding." "and.." well they had Nick and barbara. they didn't have charlie." i was so shocked and scared. "charlie is still out there" i said. "yeah" he said. "i didn't wanna tell barbara i was scared." Just then i heard Barbara scream his name.
Hopes POV
Me and nick decided to play sme video games that barbara had. we were having a blast. it was so much fun. after wards me and Nick got tired so we had sat there and talked. "you can ask me if you want" i told him. "ask you what?" "about clay, you can i don't mind" i said. "well" he started i finished. "he was abusive and he did rape me. Mikki had turned him in when i told her. I told her after he had done it the third time. i was scared of what he could do." i was tearin up some. "well we've been through enough drama i don't wanna(i said with air quotes) scare you away with more drama" Nick Hugged me. "I'm not gonna be scared away like that. its the past." He hugged me agian, i felt safe. He let go. I wanted to kiss him, he wanted to kiss me, we could tell. but instead we just sat there and he sang to me. it was not 5 minutes after he sang to me that we heard Barbara shout Kevins name.
