SINOPSIS: Roger Cobb es un famoso escrito de terror que decide cambiar de género y escribir un libro de su experiencia como veterano de guerra en el Vietnam. Tras la muerte de su tía Elizabeth decide irse a vivir a su casa para escribir el libro, pero su hijo Jimmy desaparece misteriosamente. Obsesionado con encontrarlo descubre que la casa está encantada y que su hijo podría seguir vivo en alguna parte de ella.

SINOPSIS: Roger Cobb is a famous horror writer who decides to turn the genre and writes a book based in his experience like veteran in Vietnam's war. Behind the death of her aunt Elizabeth Roger moves to her house to write the book but his son Jimmy misses mysteriously. Obsessed to find him Roger discovers that the house is haunted and that Jimmy could be continue alive in some part of it.

TRIVIA: William Katt was well-known in the 80's by his role as Ralph Hinckley in "The Greatest American Hero" TV series, George Wendt as Norm in "Cheers" and Richard Moll as Bull Shannon in "Night Court"; when Roger and Jimmy meet with Ben his clothes are wet, but a few seconds later clothes are dry; when Roger drops the rope to the mirror wind blows, but later wind stops; in the scene where Roger and Chet talk about a Elizabeth's picture covered with a rug, the rug changes the position some times; and the movie had three sequels: "House II: The Second Story" (Ethan Wiley, 1987), "The Horror Show" (James Isaac, 1989) and "House IV" (Lewis Abernathy, 1992).
