Joe's POV
My date with Carson is tonight and everything has to go perfect. She finally agreed that our bet was fair and that she lost so, I'm taking her to the movies. Kevin told me he spoke with Hayley about Trey but apparently Carson doesn't see that he's trouble. Typical! I was thinking about cleverly discussing him tonight and trying to persuade Carson that he isn't right for her...and who knows, if she thinks I'm better then I'll happily agree. I decided on a horror movie so maybe she could get scared and snuggle up to me. But I doubt Carson would do anything like that. Time to go! Wish me luck!
I arrived at her house after 'borrowing' Kevin's car. I knocked on her door and I was way surprised when she answered with a smile and a gorgeous outfit.
"Woah! You scrub up nice."
"Not so bad yourself Jonas."
I had decided to wear a casual suit as a true gentleman. After all we were going to the movies and I didn't want to be over dressed. I opened her car door for her then drove to the theatre.
"I picked a scary movie if thats ok?"
"Sure."
"Then I thought we could go for a walk through the park."
"Yeah."
"Then I thought I'd get the aliens from planet Mars to come and capture you in a pink helicopter flown by chickens."
"Sounds fun."
"Carson!" I shouted causing her to pay attention to me. "You arn't even listening."
"Sorry. I have a lot on my mind."
Carson's POV
I decided to wear a beatufil leopard print dress AN: Pic in the video. and red heels. When Joe arrived he complimented by outfit straight away, and didn't lead it into some cheesy pick up line. We walked outside and he opened the car door for me like a gentleman. He was the complete opposite of Trey and had me totally confused. Just because I act tough doesn't mean I don't want somebody to be good to me. After all I am still a girl. But does he know that? I drifted into my thoughts and next thing I knew Joe was yelling at me.
"Sorry. I have a lot on my mind." I told him. It was true.
"What you thinking about?" he asked me in that annoying way of his which makes everything seem alright.
"Girl stuff." I told him blankly.
"Woah!. Lets not discuss that." he yelled laughing.
I had to crack a smile at how immature he was.
"So what are we doing tonight?"
"Well, if you were listening to me earlier, you'd know we're going to the movies then for a walk through the park."
"Cool. What kind of movie?"
"Again, if you were listening you'd know it's a horror movie."
"Sorry. I tend to drift sometimes."
"No way!" he added sarcasticly.
I punched him playfully in the arm while he laughed.
Joe's POV
Things seemed to be going great. She was laughing which was a good sign. I decided that tonight was the night to confess how I feel about her. I'm leaving on tour in 2 days and she needs to know. It could totally work out in my favour and if not....I'm back to square one. We arrived at the movie theatre and thankfully it wasn't too crowded. I had brought a hat and glasses to disguise who I was from Kevin's magical dress-up box. Carson laughed at my goofy glasses and top hat but at least I wouldn't draw attention. Well, attention from being a Jonas. I bought some popcorn for us to share and 2 drinks. We qued for the tickets and I bought those too as a true gentleman. She seemed impressed as I linked arms with her and lead her into the screen. We had decided to see Scream. It was an old showing but I'd never seen the movie myself and surprisingly neither had Carson. We sat at the back as those were always the best seats. The trailors began showing, advertising the season's newest blockbusters and we pointed out the films which drew our attention. Then the lights dimmed and the movie began.
Carson's POV
We had decided to go see Scream which I must admit I had wanted to see for a while but never gotton around to. Joe being the gentleman he is, bought the popcorn, drinks, tickets and whatever else I needed. We sat down on the back row and the screen was hardly full. There were a few other couples but thats about it. After the trailors the movie began and it started with the cliche' phone call scene. Poor innocent girl, home alone, called by masked murderer. The music started and I couldn't help but tense up. I knew exactly what would happen but when was a different story. As the movie became more thrilling I became more tense. I found myself inching closer towards Joe when he finally put his arm around me. I smiled but I DIDN'T enjoy it. The rest of the film followed this girl who the killer was after but she managed to out smart him. Joe kept his arm around me through the entire film and by the end I was snuggled into his shoulder. The lights came up followed by an awkward moment between myself and Joe. We jumped away from each other as if we had done something wrong then blushed and laughed. We walked from the movies to the park where Joe finally took off his ridiculous disguise.
