Welcome to "The Dead Legends"..."The Night of The Singing Dead!" (First created in 2002.)
Imagine, if you will, a killer of a horror-night party show, where a sorcerer's spell and a witch's curse bring back the devil's music of Rock n Roll in a spooktacular night of flashback fun where VH1 Meets the Twilight Zone!
The Dead Legends conjures up the zombied images of Buddy Holly, John Lennon, Roy Orbison, Elvis and Jim Morrison of The Doors, to perform their most bone-shaking rockers and haunting ballads. . .The demonic pounding beat and eerie light show gives an outer limits feel to this Graveyard Groove!
This Tombstone Rock Show has lots and plots more as each Dead Legend's Set give you the cemetery shivers with more of their other great tunes!
Although the video here begins with "Jim Morrison," the show actually starts with a haunting figure of "Buddy Holly" rising from the smoking wreckage of a doomed flight making his Fender Stratocaster scream for "Thatll Be the Day."(That I'll Die) and other Buddy favorites. After his "rockin' round the tombstone" set, a spectre of a bloody John Lennon sledgehammers with his psychedelic soaked hits like "Revolution" and becomes a shocking ghoulish walrus right before your eyes for "I Am The Walrus!"
For the next "Dead Legend, an ominous "back in funeral black"clad Roy Orbison is heard arriving on a haunted Harley to launch into his ballads and rock-a-billy rockers, wooing all the witchy women with "Pretty Woman" and also give a lucky lady his eyeballs from behind his shades for "You Got It!"
At this point, there's a quick 15 minute intermission for guests to quinch with some witches brew and enjoy a few Devil's dance hits to stretch their legs and necks, (HA!) Then, the phantom parade resumes....
Eerie Elvis the zombie takes the stage with his eternal classics, "All Shook Up," "Devil in Disguise," "Burnin' Love" and winds out by pulling out his beating heart for "Don't Be Cruel to a Heart thats True!"
Mummified "Jim Morrison" as the last member of the Dead Legends, ends the graveyard shift with those deliciously dark and sexy rockers of The Doors... Yes, "Mr. Mojo Risin' " will be risin' out of the cemetery dirt back into the midnight moonlight! After his performance, he hosts the costume contest and winds up the show.
Its casket loads of fun throughout, as each "Dead Legend" gets the hottest ladies to join him on stage to be "ghostly go-go gals!" This is the Halloween - Friday the 13th show everyone will be jawboning about!!!
Prior to the show, as guests and attendees take their seats, pre-recorded promotionals and medleys of classic Black Magic, Halloween and Friday 13th themed rock songs play.
Show is typically 2 HOURS, with each "Dead Legend" performance being a 5songs in 15 minutes set , with a 7 minute break (between each set for changes) featuring pre-recorded Halloween sing-along favorites (Ghost Busters, Monster Mash, etc.)
Now booking for Halloween, Friday 13th, Mardi Gras and other spooky fun events...it's definitely "supernatural!"
